
Yoga for Body Maintenance
Body Maintenance Yoga is alignment based Hatha yoga at it's heart, drawing on Iyengar yoga, somatic yoga, and other philosophies to create a practice that meets you where you are now. We break the postures down into basic movements that generate real change in your body, when practiced with commitment over time. This structure of breaking postures down into stages allows for progress without pain. It also allows for beginners and intermediate practitioners alike to benefit from the same class. This step-by-step approach to yoga helps to develop strength and mobility in the areas of your body that are asking for attention, simultaneously shifting your perspective on and off the mat.
